1    Underline the STRESSED SYLLABLE in each of the following words, and give the keyword or phonetic symbol for the vowel in that syllable.

2    Underline the UNSTRESSED SYLLABLE or SYLLABLES in each of the following words, and give the keyword or phonetic symbol for the vowel in that syllable. In some cases the unstressed syllable will have a strong vowel but more usually it will be KIT or SCHWA.
