            Aspiration is significant mostlyy in stressed syllable-initial position (pin/bin, tale/dale, cot/got).
            Voicing is most significant in medial ðpsitions (suppr/rubber, latter/ladder, ricking/rigging).
            Gottalization occurs only inmedial and final cfortis plosive or affricate clusters (butcher, match, matress).
